I was searching through some computer files.
I came across some scans of cover artwork and thought it’d be kinda cool
to stitch together the covers to issues 139-142 without the logos and stuff:
Shel thinks it’s WAY cool.
We’re off to Denver tomorrow:
Shel’s not happy about flying on Friday the 13th.
Wish us luck.
Here’s how the colouring turned out for the ‘Turtle Lair’ commission:
Coming up soon:
A couple of months ago I posted this commission:Which was 3 x 5 ‘practice’ version of this:
This one’s 17 x 22. The Batman is ‘light-boxed’ (euphemism for ‘traced’) from an original Bernie Wrightson pencil drawing.
The owner of the original art sent me a scan so that I could use it created a new piece, complete with a ‘Gerhard background’.
Wish me luck on the inking.
Looking forward to our next show:

Still away from home and my drawing board.
Still having fun with the Cintiq:
Still trying to get actual pen-on-paper work done

but in the meantime, here’s more ‘Fun With the Cintiq’:
