I’ve been working on illustrating stores written by local writer, Shelley Byers.
I was captivated by the charm and sense of innocence of these stores and wanted to try to bring them to life in drawings.
It’s a real departure from my usual work and hearkens back to the freedom in art that captured my imagination when I began drawing in grade school.
Here’s a preview of the first few pages. Enjoy!
